MEET MATT PAULSON:

Matt was born in Virginia Beach and has lived in Northern Virginia since 2001. Matt graduated from Frank W. Cox High School in 1997 and attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Economics in 2001. Matt attended American University, where he earned a Juris Doctor in May of 2007. He is licensed to practice in Virginia and Maryland.

Matt has experience in a wide range of legal areas including Estate Planning and Administration, Small Business Representation, Real Estate, and Civil Litigation. His trial experience includes representation of individuals and companies before Circuit Courts throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia and Maryland, including the Arlington, Fairfax, Alexandria and Montgomery County Circuit Courts. Matt is licensed to practice before the Virginia Court of Appeals, the Virginia Supreme Court and the Supreme Court of Maryland.


MEET Kim Stepanuk:

Kim was born in Maryland and, with the exception of her father’s back-to-back military tours as a fighter pilot on the West Coast, she has lived in the DMV area for her entire life.  Kim graduated from Chantilly High School and attended Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia, where she earned Bachelors Degrees in Urban and Regional Planning and Political Science.  Kim graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law.

Kim’s prior experience in litigation is what gives Kim an edge over many other lawyers in the title industry.  Following graduation from law school, Kim clerked for a Circuit Court judge in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City before going on to litigate hundreds of matters in the state trial courts throughout the area.  Kim is licensed to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Virginia.


MEET jenny Richards:

Jenny was born and raised in Florida. She attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Bachelor of Arts in Classical Studies. Jenny was heavily involved in the campus community during her undergraduate studies and was inducted into the UF Hall of Fame for her contributions. She went on to attend and graduate from William & Mary Law School in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Before joining the Allied team, Jenny gained experience in both the residential and commercial real estate sectors. In those roles, she received front-seat training in the real estate projects that continue to shape our neighborhoods and the overall DC region. Jenny has experience in a range of matters, including contract drafting and negotiation, commercial leasing, corporate governance, and non-profit regulatory compliance. Jenny is licensed to practice in Virginia.


MEET CHLOE Sellers:

Chloe was born in Texas and graduated from the University of Houston, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. Following undergrad Chloe relocated to the D.C. area where she worked as a special education teacher before attending law school at Howard University School of Law where she received her J.D. and Georgetown Law Center, receiving an L.L.M. in taxation.

Prior to joining the Allied team, Chloe gained a wealth of legal experience as a judicial law clerk for the U.S. Virgin Islands Superior Court and as a tax attorney where she represented clients before the IRS and U.S. Tax Court. Chloe began her real estate career as a litigation attorney where she represented residential homeowners and title insurance companies. Chloe is licensed to practice in the District of Columbia.


MEET Luke Remsberg:

Luke grew up in the DMV area and attended Towson University in Baltimore County, Maryland. Luke earned a Bachelor's degree in Sport Management before attending law school at the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University. Shortly after graduating law school in May 2023, Luke joined the team at Allied. Luke is licensed to practice in the District of Columbia. 

Outside of work, Luke is an avid basketball fan, player, and coach. In his free time, he coaches youth basketball in the Arlington rec leagues. In the summer after his first year of law school, he married his High School sweetheart, and they now happily reside in Arlington, VA with two adorable cats! 


MEET Tierney Walls:

Originally from Hershey, Pennsylvania, Tierney attended Lehigh University where she majored in International Relations and Business. Tierney moved to Arlington, Virginia to attend George Mason Law School with a focus on Estate Planning. 

Things switched gears for her in 2018, when she found an internship at a law firm in the Title Industry. She quickly developed a passion for conducting settlements and resolving a broad range of title matters. Tierney passed the Virginia Bar Exam in 2021 and has enjoyed working in the field ever since.
